This living history portrayal takes John and Abigail Adams from their courtship, through the tumultuous early days of the American Revolution, to 1778, when John and his son John Quincy are preparing to sail for France, leaving Abigail, daughter Nabby, and sons Charles and Thomas on the farm in Braintree, Mass.
