THE LIBRARY IS CLOSED THROUGH SUNDAY, APRIL 5th

NEW! EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: THE LIBRARY IS CLOSED THROUGH SUNDAY, APRIL 5th

During this time we ask that our users keep any library materials at home and not try and return them until the library re-opens. All overdue fines will be waived. The RI Office of Library and Information Services has cancelled all interlibrary delivery from March 16th through March 20th.

Our greatest concern is the health and wellness of our community. We will update you as decisions are made within the library, town, and state that effect library opertaions. We would like to remind patrons that the library has many digital collections available to cardholders including the following:
  • eBooks, eAudiobooks, and video streaming through Overdrive
  • eBooks, eAudiobooks, video/TV streaming and music through Hoopla
  • Video streaming through Kanopy
  • Music streaming through Freegal
  • Craft tutorials through Creativebug

The Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services has put together an extenstive guide to the educational and recreataional (fun!) resources available to you through our state libraries. They have it organized by age and interest. Make sure you take advantage of everything your library card has to offer while our door are closed.

We thank you for your understanding for the seriousness of this situation. For updates about the spread of the virus you can check out the resources on our website, or view the town's update as of March 10.
