New England Aquarium: Rockhopper Hop

Learn about penguin habitats and adaptations in this interactive stage program. Participants help identify penguins and conservation issues relating to penguins and use their knowledge to help turn an Aquarium staff member into a rockhopper penguin! RWP Zoo Mobile: Wild Habitats

Wednesday April 23 2:30 or 3:30 P.M.

From freezing tundra to arid deserts, animals have managed to make their homes everywhere. Explore various habitats and the animals that call them home. This program will include 3 small live animals. PLEASE REGISTER FOR ONLY ONE TIME SLOT. This program is for ages 4 and up. Casey Farm Baby Chicks

Learn about the chickens from Casey Farm. See and touch some of the baby chicks that have just hatched. After the program, Casey Farm will be leaving an incubator of eggs. Please stop by the Young Readers’ Department to observe their progress until the eggs begin to hatch. The chicks will be with us for about a week after they hatch. Please register beginning April 1st.
