Books Enjoyed by the Adult Summer Reading Club

Participants of the Adult Summer Reading Club met on August 15th to discuss what they had read over the summer. Check out the list of the books they recommend.
The library has two ongoing book discussion groups. The Science Fiction/ Fantasy Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of every month and is moderated by Fiction Librarian, Maggie Brewer. This month's read is Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card and the discussion is on September 10th at 6:30pm. The Thursday Book Group meets on the fourth Thursday of each month and is also moderated by Maggie. On September 26th at 5:30pm they will discuss The Awakening by Kate Chopin.
A group of mystery lovers meet for a non-moderated discussion on the first Tuesday of the month and is discussing The Innocent by David Baldacci on September 3rd at 7:00pm.
Books are available prior to all of these discussions; new participants are always welcome; and registration is requested. You can call the library at 294-3306 or register online at http://www.nklibrary.org/Programs
